Open Days

The first Saturday of each month (1pm - 4pm) is Open Day at EarthCare. Everyone is welcome to visit the centre and take part in free talks and site tours.

2010 Programme

Sat 1 May -
10am - 3pm		 The centre will be open for National Permaculture Day.
Sat 10 April -
1pm - 3pm		 Prof David Ellsworth from the UWS Centre for Plants and the Environment will be giving us a presentation on the Hawkesbury Forest Experiment. Which is a study of how Australian forests will react to future climate change conditions. Join us at noon for a BYO Lunch at the EarthCare Centre, followed by David's talk at 1pm. After which we will visit the HFE on Londonderry Rd, followed by afternoon tea back at EarthCare at 3pm.

Wed 15 April		 COW Plus with Robyn Francis. An intensive 3-day Course Orientation Workshop (COW) for those wishing to teach Accredited Permaculture Training (APT).  More information on this course.

Sun 19 April		 ADS + FLOW with Robyn Francis. This course is for those who have completed a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and would like to gain an APT qualification.  More information on this course.

Sun 26 April		 Introduction to Permaculture Course
A 2 day Introductory Permaculture course by Penny Milburn and friends.
Course costs $160 ($140 ATA/HDRA members), includes lunch & refreshments.

Sat 13 June ATA Solar & Wind Seminar
Sat 18 July HDRA are running an workshop from 9am to 3.30pm on fruit tree pruning. $10 for members or $15 for non members. Morning and afternoon tea supplied and Hot Pumpkin Soup for Lunch. Booking and more information call Jozef 02 4587 8806.
